Srijit Iyer

I'm an Electrical and Computer Engineering student at the University of Toronto and a Schulich Leader Scholar, Canada's largest STEM scholarship ($120,000). I like working on technically challenging problems, especially in machine learning, systems programming, and quantitative finance.

Right now I'm a researcher at Stanford AI Lab working with the Ermon group on RL post-training for diffusion models, and a co-founder of Axon (an AI-driven influencer marketing agency). I'll also be doing a quant trading internship this summer.

Previously I was a researcher at Harvard studying information propagation in social networks, and an engineer at Polymarket, where I built an internal analytics platform for tracking creator growth and automated payment pipelines. At Wolfram Research I worked directly with Stephen Wolfram on exposing randomness generation limitations in large language models.

When I was younger I was very into speedcubing, averaging around 12 seconds on 3x3 and high 3s on pyraminx. In 2021 I got deep into crypto, trading NFTs and memecoins. Something about the problem solving carried over into building things online, which led to running a six-figure marketing agency in high school, and I never really stopped.

You can see some of the things I've been working on here.
